Pike Township

Until taking early retirement from pharmaceutical giant Eli Lily, Lula M. Patton earned 25 years experience working in marketing, financial planning and analysis, customer service and corporate accounting. She has held positions in Pharmaceutical Credit, long-range planning, pricing, international treasury, and marketing. This experience has certainly prepared her to manage the budget entrusted to the Pike Township Trustee.

Trustee Lula M. Patton is an active member of the Indianapolis community, as well. The 29-year Pike Township resident has deepened her involvement in community-based and public service organizations. She is a past president of the Indianapolis chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, a national humanitarian organization, and she recently represented her church, Trinity Christian Methodist, at the World Methodist Council in Great Britain. She has also held leadership positions within Pike Township's Democratic Party organization.

"I have complete faith in the future of this community," says Trustee Patton. "I want to ensure that we set and achieve goals that will benefit all of our residents, not just today but in many years to come."
